noncomm.co is a directory of college and community radio stations. This page says what we collect, where station data and contacts come from, and how to get something removed.

Station information

Call signs, frequencies, licensees and locations come from public regulator records: the US Federal Communications Commission and, for Canada, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada. Town coordinates come from the US Census Bureau. Descriptions, links and contacts are added by station staff after we approve their claim, or collected from the station's own public pages.

Contacts

A contact is a name, role, email address or phone number a station chose to list for music submissions. Visitors who are not logged in see only contacts the station marked public. Logged-in users see all contacts for a station. Each contact shows where it came from and when it was last confirmed. We do not sell contact data and we do not offer bulk export.

To have a contact removed, use the “Request removal” link beside it, or the removal page. A person reviews each request. You can also write to [email protected].

Accounts

To log in we store your email address. We email a one-time link instead of using a password. Login links work once and expire after 15 minutes; we keep only a hash of each link, and delete expired ones. If you claim a station we also store the name, role and evidence you give us, so a reviewer can decide. Claim evidence is visible only to administrators.

Cookies

We set one cookie, a session cookie that keeps you logged in for up to 30 days. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
